JUSTICE LEAGUE 2 will be the second film in the DC Cinematic Universe that will tell the origin stories of some of the world’s most iconic characters.
It will take place after the events of JUSTICE LEAVES, which saw Geoff Johns (JLA: THE LEGACY) and Tom King (THE GIRLFRIEND) return to the DCU as the new creative team.
This time around, we’re talking about the first major film in a trilogy.
It’s been rumored that Justice League 2 will feature a new film in 2019, but we’ll be keeping an eye on that.
But what we do know is that the DC Extended Universe is about to get even bigger.
That’s because this year, Warner Bros. is bringing the entire DC Extended universe together for Justice League, which will also be its most expansive yet.
The team will assemble to form the Justice League in 2019.
They’ll be joined by a team of new villains, including the Enchantress (CATWOMAN), who’s been known as the Mother of Monsters for years.
Then, a few months later, a group of new heroes will arrive to save the day.
These new heroes include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, the Flash, Aqualad, The Flash’s daughter, Cyborg’s son, Aqua, Green Lantern and many others.
The film is slated to open in 2019 and will follow the adventures of the Justice Leagues in the months ahead.
And as you may know by now, Justice League has had a fairly rocky first few years.
But now it looks like the film will finally be going to the big screen, thanks to Warner Bros.’ acquisition of DC Comics.
